On deadline day, we will be making the cap of an acquired player X% of what it originally was. Now, we need all of you to say how much you want the cap of a player to be.
Example: If I trade for a player who's cap hit is 6.0 per, and we say we want the cap to be 25% of what it was, then I only have to pay 1.5 as his cap hit.
We will have 2 days to make final trades and things of the sort. During this time, is when the cap hit rule will apply.
As of now, we are set on 50%.
You can only acquire or trade a player at the deadline once.

Just 10%, because If It's more it will reduce interest...10% might still be a lot...

We are letting people know that they can acquire players at the deadline and that their cap hit will be lowered.
We are also giving them the freedom to chip in the % that the cap hit should be decreased by.

go with 25%. or do the real thing
the cap hit is their total salary divided by total # of days from Game 1 to Game 82. The Cap hit remaining is that # multiplied by the # of days remaining in the regular season.
Just an Example a 6M $ player (over 180days) x 45days(days remaining after deadline) = cap hit of 1.5M

The real thing seems too complicated.
25% makes it too easy. 50% is fair IMO.

there cap hit is there cap hit it doesnt change there salary is the only thing that changes And if your team has 2M in cap space, at the deadline, you can fit a 6M dollar player in to your roster. However, if that player has another year under contract, it is on you to ensure that he fits under that season's cap number
